About The Event
“The practice of yin/yang yoga helps us learn about stillness in movement and the flow in stillness.” - Sarah Powers
Join us for a special class exploring yin yang yoga. We'll actively flow through stale energy in a yang style practice before surrendering into a yin practice intended to invite space within.
Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice - bringing together the benefits of dynamic sequences and standing postures, with passively held yoga poses. Yang yoga offers a more active practice working on the muscles and blood flow, building strength, stamina and flexibility with rhythm and repetition. Yin Yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer, working on the deep, dense connective tissues and joints in the body.
75 minutes; $15 inc. tax. All props provided. No experience required.
All welcome. Very limited space, so please register soon.
NOTE: At times during the yoga practice, there may be the opportunity for gentle, hands-on adjustments. These are always optional.
