WHAT TO EXPECT Accessible to all experience levels, this class takes a holistic approach to your yoga practice - incorporating breath control, postures, mindfulness and meditation practices. The focus of this six week session will be on building a yoga practice that soothes back pain and tension, while simultaneously strengthening and building stability in the spine. The first part of our class will blend challenge and peace: starting with a short grounding practice before moving on to postures that gently build heat, cultivating strength and intentional malleability. You’ll learn alignment foundations to safely practice back bends, and the essential tools for a practice that meets your spine's needs in a way that is both healing and nourishing. We’ll slow down the last part of the class with gentle stretching, allowing you time to integrate your efforts and experience on the mat. NOTE: At times there may be the opportunity for gentle, hands-on adjustments. These are always optional. INVESTMENT When you sign up for all 6 weeks, the classes are $10 each ... 6 weeks = $67.80 ($60 + tax) *Depending on attendance, there may be some classes when drop-in spaces are available.
